These are Bally's TMA 2nd degree black belt green tip kicking combinations as taught by Master Choi between August 31, 2010 and January 22, 2011. One and two were taught on August 31, 2010 and updated on January 22, 2011 with the presentation of kicking combination #3.

2nd Degree Black Belt Green Tip One Step Sparring

One Step Sparring #1
Step Facing Action
Start in chumbee (ready) position then fighting stance with RF back.
1 Opponent attacks with right high round house kick. Step forward with right foot doing left-hand inside-outside high middle block w/ closed fist.
2 Opponent attacks with left middle round house kick. Check their kick blocking with right shin in an inside-outside sweeping motion.
3 Opponent gets knocked back a little by the checked kick. Using left (rear) leg, throw round-house kick to midsection and return leg to rear in fighting stance.
4 Left high spinning back hook kick (finishing blow).
One Step Sparring #2
Step Direction Action
Start in chumbee (ready) position then fighting stance with RF back.
1 Opponent attacks with right high round house kick. Step forward with right foot doing double knife-hand block. Left hand stops their kick.
2 Right elbow to opponent's face.
3 Opponent attacks with right high spinning back hook kick. Step back with right foot returning to initial fighting stance doing a sort-of "X" block with left-hand high and right hand low. Left hand stops kick and right hand catches their leg as it drops.
4 Holding opponent's right leg, place left hand on their shoulder and push forward while sweeping their (left) standing leg from front to back.
5 Stepping forward with left leg, follow opponent to the ground. Can optionally wrap your right leg between their thigh and calf to separate knee but be careful not to do this in class. Switch hands to hold their right foot with your left hand. Deliver right punch to back of head.
One Step Sparring #3
Step Direction Action
Start in chumbee (ready) position then fighting stance with RF back.
1 Opponent attacks with right middle round house kick. Skip back into tiger stance doing left low knife-hand block.
2 Throw right low round house kick to inside of their attacking leg's thigh (which remained forward). Return foot to initial position.
3 Opponent attacks with left middle round house kick. Skip back to avoid kick.
4 Their left leg remains forward. Double round-house kick (R/L).
5 They skip back to avoid kick. Skip-in leading with left leg to sweep their legs from behind while using left hand to push from front.
6 Follow opponent to ground holding them down with right hand and finish with left punch to face.
